Plusnet plc is a British triple play internet service provider providing broadband, landline and mobile services.
At Plusnet, I was lead developer in the Agile-based Plusnet GDPR Team, where my responsibilities included:
- Mentoring other developers
- Developing PHP scripts
- Conducting PHPUnit testing
- Contributing to project solutions
- Designing and documenting detailed technical designs
- Performing code reviews
- Supporting the QA team
Our objective was to create web and cron scripts to meet Plusnet’s GDPR obligations. A key focus was on developing scripts to efficiently archive, delete, and encrypt historical MySQL datasets.
