HOPS needed a stable server to host business critical applications. This service hosted the client portal, served nightly management reports and provided an authorisation API to the MS SQL server.
I managed the provision of this server, right from selection of suppliers and specification of hardware to application development and testing.
The server itself contained two raid arrays for reliable data storage and was connected to a BT static IP service to provide internet connectivity.
